- Gurmeet has an army background as his father Mr. Sitaram Choudhary, was in the army. Hence, he got to stay in many different parts of India. However, he was born in Chandigarh and was brought up majorly in Jabalpur and Chennai.
- He has the title of Mr. Jabalpur in his name and he has also participated in Mr. India contest.
- He loves reading in his spare time; he also loves to collect glares. In fact, he has a good collection of sunglasses. He also loves to learn different forms of martial arts whenever he gets time.
- He is also Brand Ambassador of Optimum Nutrition and Refoam
